The lower part of a piece of fine ecru, fringed, linen cloth, decorated with two parallel bands of yellow and blue silk tapestry. The upper band has two mirror-images, pseudo (?)-Kufic inscriptions in yellow on a blue ground, surrounded by stylised ecru interlaces. The lower band is decorated with an undulating yellow ribbon, on either side of which figure ecru abstract motifs (plants? pseudo-inscriptions?)
